Deviating from the vocal-dominated landscape of typical Egyptian concerts, this event offers a unique exploration of instrumental finesse, resurrecting Egypt’s instrumental musical tradition and highlighting contemporary instrumental works. Against the backdrop of current global affairs, the concert pays tribute to the struggle of the Palestinian people (with whom Egyptians share a musical tradition), presenting two pieces by Palestinian composers.
